We thought it was time we pupdated you on some of the work we've done for longstanding client, Lomond Hills Australian Labradoodles.

The Challenge

Lomond Hills Australian Labradoodles are one of the most renowned dog breeders in Scotland.

After more than a decade in business, their branding felt out of date with their ever-growing and modernising customer base. A new, modern look for the Lomond Hills brand had to be carefully balanced with the heritage and authority that they had carefully acquired over the years. They also needed a new website and a unique online system that would digitise their breeding operations.

Brand Refresh

The Lomond Hills team were keen to retain a fun, friendly font as well as the original colour scheme. We brought in a fresh sans serif & paired it with a legible handwritten font. With the addition of ‘est. 2006’ we enabled Lomond Hills to retain that all-important brand longevity message whilst ensuring that it doesn’t date; a simple but effective solution. The updated logo is more flexible across multiple platforms. Having been designed with digital in mind, it can be shortened when necessary.

Photography

Lomond Hills commissioned a photographer to help capture the joy and passion they have for their profession. We provided their photographer with a Photography Guide to use as a reference ensuring the photographs matched the new look and feel.

Website

We simplified the website by pairing professional photography with considered use of space. Behind this beautiful, modern website showcasing the brand, there was another, much more complicated project running in tandem. To Lomond Hills the website is more than just an information hub for its customers, it is a tool that enables them to plan and manage the business.  A complex back end system is in place to allow them to proactively track their customers’ progress - whilst at the same time - keep on top of their busy day-to-day schedule.
