This month, we introduce our super talented front end developer, Ross. Keep it on the down-low, but we think he might actually be a wizard.
Ross Adamson
Front End Developer
INFP (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling & Perceiving)
My primary 4 teacher put it simply: “I know he’s day dreaming, I just don’t know when”. I’m not one for talking a huge amount but that’s not because I’m a mute, more I think way too much before saying something then the topic’s changed.
As my role here has matured, I feel I tend to work a lot in Back End Development. On the projects that I work on, I’ll be focused on both the Front & Back end of the website. So, this will start with taking finely tuned designs and making them into a functioning product for the customer.
I couldn’t pin point down to a specific favourite thing as there are multiple positives. One main thing that stands out though is the flexibility. Eddie and Chris have been very positive when it comes to allowing us to be flexible with our work-life balance.
At present, most of my spare time is occupied by an adventurous puppy that is always on the hunt for something to investigate! Thankfully, he’s finished his in-depth investigation into the strength of our skirting boards…
Prof Brian Cox, Stephen Fry & Colin McRae
If I’m brutally honest, my music knowledge is woeful at best so I’ve not a scooby.
[We've suggested some theme tunes for Ross below...]
A nice chilled Lager
The Superman theme tune for obvious reasons, Hero - Enrique Iglesias (He regularly fixes everyone's mistakes), The Scientist - Coldplay (since he's a computer scientist & likes coldplay) ... & also this.
We'll leave you to guess who suggested the last one.
Vital Hike is nine years old today (that's fifty six in dog years!), and what an adventure it’s been so far.
