Our operations manager Kathryn is strategic and creative in equal measure, making sure Vital Hike are always at their best.

Means I totally love systems like the Myers-Briggs ;)
It means I favour Introverted Intuition (I spend a lot of time in my head thinking and spotting patterns), backed up with Extraverted Thinking (I love metrics). I’m not a big hugger.
A little bit of everything. Knowing about what’s going on. Planning, strategising, and making sure work gets done... just a little bit of nagging.
Autonomy. Being trusted to get on with it.
I paint abstract landscapes. Mainly seas, skies, clouds, that sort of thing. I’m also getting into Instagram and learning what it takes to come across as a real life human being.
I was rather into triathlon at the beginning of the year, but that’s given way to making art. I still need my exercise though – cycling and running are how I reset my mood. Also good for keeping perspective = keeping ducks. They’re awesome, if you don’t mind duck poo all over your garden.
If there’s any time left after that, I like to go away camping in an old Landrover, or army truck, depending on the occasion.
I honestly can’t think of anyone I’d like to invite to a dinner party, apart from maybe close friends (and even then, I’d rather not have to host it).
The Lonely Island’s “Threw It On The Ground” – because I’m a clumsy oaf and forever knocking things onto the floor.
I’m a lightweight (thanks, genetics). A gin & tonic and a glass of tap water.
She's very modest, but outside of work, Kathryn is also an extremely talented artist - take a look at her beautiful paintings here: kathrynho.com
Vital Hike is nine years old today (that's fifty six in dog years!), and what an adventure it’s been so far.
